The Opportunity - Deal Desk Associate
Job Title: Deal Desk Associate

Work Schedule: Shift-Based (Global Support Model- Primarily 4PM to 1AM IST)
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Associate to support global sales teams in managing commercial transactions throughout the deal lifecycle. This role will be responsible for reviewing deal requests, validating pricing and discount structures, coordinating approvals, ensuring compliance with established business policies, and enabling efficient deal execution. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, subscription, or technology-based sales organizations
What you will do
Review and process deal requests submitted by sales teams.
Validate pricing, discount structures, licensing models, and commercial terms in accordance with company guidelines.
Coordinate approvals with Finance, Pricing, Sales Leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Support quote creation, deal structuring, and non-standard commercial requests.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of deal information before submission for approval.
Track deal progress and proactively engage stakeholders to ensure timely deal closure.
Review business cases for pricing exceptions, special terms, and strategic opportunities.
Assist in identifying commercial risks and support adherence to internal governance requirements.
Generate reports and provide insights on deal volume, approval trends, turnaround times, and operational metrics.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance deal effectiveness and sales experience.
Provide operational support across multiple regions and time zones through a shift-based environment.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Management, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Pricing Operations, Order Management, or a related function.
Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or technology sales organizations.
Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discounting frameworks, quotation processes, and commercial approvals.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar sales and commercial management platforms.
Experience working with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), CQC, or equivalent deal management and quoting tools.
Strong analytical, reporting, and Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting global sales teams across multiple geographies.
Familiarity with subscription-based, licensing, and recurring revenue business models.
Understanding of end-to-end commercial and sales transaction lifecycle processes.
Experience working within structured approval, pricing governance, and commercial compliance environments.
Exposure to revenue, margin, and profitability considerations during deal reviews.
